Nantucket Residence

Built in 1795, this former captain’s house just steps from the town of Nantucket recently underwent a gut renovation and was transformed into a treasure trove of a home adorning antiques from all corners of Europe and America. While keeping much of its original charm such as the wide plank pine floors and six wood burning fireplaces, the 3,000 square foot home received a major face-lift that took many nods from Belgian, Scandinavian and classic American design. By maintaining a calm colorful palette throughout, the different rooms seamlessly work together to create an organic and understated atmosphere.
