Cartier Pasha, a line first presented in the heady '80s and based on a watch that was, according to Cartier, presented to the Pasha of Marrakech in 1943. Originally intended for the wrists of men but famously adopted by many women, the Pasha is, on the face of it, a round dress watch. Certainly, in describing it thus, you would not be incorrect. If the Pasha is the type of watch that catches your attention, there's a lot to like in this 18K Yellow Gold chronograph variant circa 1986 of the elegant collection. Quickly familiar as a member of Cartier's distinct Pasha design family via its integrated case silhouette, and clean dial, the model is elegant and versatile on the wrist. And this wouldn't be a Pasha without the canteen-style crown protector, which has to be screwed off to access a smaller crown for manually winding the movement and setting the time. The signature stylized Arabic numerals are gone to make way for the chronograph sub-dials against the White porcelain dial.
