This rare watch with Swiss hallmarks was produced in Switzerland by the premier house of International Watch Company. The case was custom made by the Swiss case company of Francis Borgel in Sterling Silver. Borgel made cases for all the famous Swiss watch companies including Patek Philippe. This watch, was sold to the international jewelry firm of Mappin and Webb. They had stores in England, France and South America. The watch is in excellent condition and still keeps time well enough to wear it every day.
