An authentic 18K (Karat) yellow gold Patek Philippe Geneva open-face pocket watch Circa late 1800s, in excellent condition. The dial functions flawlessly and includes a subdial displaying the seconds. This extraordinary timepiece has dual covers, one protecting the dial and the other revealing the presentation date of "May 29th, 1878" along with an inscription on the inner border that reads "N° 51552 PATEK PHILIPPE & C° GENEVA." and another inscription on the inside of the cover with the number "51552" and "18". Included with this remarkable watch are its original signed certificate, labeled with the matching number "51552", which was issued two days later on "May 31st, 1878," as well as the original vintage box. This exceptional Patek Philippe pocket watch is a rare treasure for any collector or enthusiast of fine horology. With its 18-karat yellow gold construction, impeccable condition, and original documentation dating back to 1878, it offers a unique connection to history and craftsmanship.
