George III Sterling Silver Tankard

About the Item

A nicely sized George III period sterling silver tankard with assay marks for 1806. The slightly tapered body features two reeded bands either side of an elegant monogram likely 'J.S'. In lovely order, the piece shows only minor signs of wear including a very slight split to the handle, which are commensurate with age and use. This piece would not only make a welcome gift for a silver aficionado but due to its restrained design and smaller size would be adored by any lover of fine things.
