About the Item
This champagne cover is a jewel to enrich your table. Indeed, the artist transformed our pure silver 999/°° K-OVER into a precious treasure chest to keep your bottle of champagne chilled. The artist took inspiration from the well-known Fabergé Egg and perfectly managed to reproduce the beauty and refinement of the eggs produced by the House of Fabergé. In addition, egg symbolises life; we hope that our customer will use our K-OVER to celebrate the most important moments of their life.
The cover has been completely handcrafted by Stefano Vigni, a Florentine master goldsmith and a “Fabergé workmaster”. The production process took few months and the techniques used are painting, repoussage and chasing. The core value of the product is given by its artistic perfection. Indeed, the artist worked a single piece of silver and the complexity of the task was increased by the fact that the reverse side is missing. It is also important to underline the great attention in chiseling geometrical designs. In the future, it will be hard to find such a talented artist.
The champagne cover is made in solid silver 999/°° and has been plated in 24kt gold. The painting is realized with emerald polish and enriched with small red stones (upon request it is be possible to substitute them with: diamonds, emeralds, rubies, etc.). The cover has been signed by Stefano Vigni.
Artist information:
Stefano Vigni was born in Florence in 1952. Being very interest in art, he started working when he was only 14 years old. At the begging of its career he worked as apprentice in the best workshops in Florence and made important works for clients such as Tiffany and Bulgari. In addition, in 2014, Stefano was appointed “Fabergé workmaster”. He has recently collaborated with K-OVER for the project: K-over Art.

Covers are suitable for champenoise bottles such as: Moët Et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Cristal, Pol Roger, Piper-Heidsieck, Perrier Jouët, Taittinger, Mumm, Ferrari, Berlucchi.
All our champagne covers are produced in solid silver 999/°°. The usage of pure material is a novelty, as a matter of fact, silverware is usually produced in sterling silver. Our choice can be explained by three reasons. Firstly, we want to provide a high valuable product to our customers. Secondly, pure silver is hard to oxidise, so that it is easier to be cleaned. Last but not least, silver has an antibacterial property which make it safe.
