GIA Graded D, SI1, Vintage Platinum Asscher Cut 2.23 Carat Diamond Ring

De Beers diamond solitaire platinum ring. The center prong set square cut diamond is very white - F/G (colorless to beer colorless), and very very slightly included. This very fine diamond is estimated to weigh .40 cts., is well cut with fine symmetry. Set in platinum and signed on the interior this ring (De Beers number, De Beer's hallmark as well as their hallmark of setting a small diamond in the interior of the shank, and also this ring bears the mark for platinum). On one of the De Beer's hallmarks, it is hard to read the end of the signature because of a wear stamping or polishing. This ring is in fine condition and is accompanied by its original De Beers box...

Art Deco Diamond, Ruby and Platinum ring made early to mid 20th century. This is a finely made platinum ring with 62 bead set well matched brilliant cut fine diamonds totaling an estimated 1.85 cts. The diamonds are all graded to be approximately H, near colorless, and very slightly included, VS1. The 22 fine natural vivid red rubies (probably from Burma), are channel set, and well matched in color and clarity. The estimated weight of the rubies is 1.10 cts. Totally there are 2.95 cts. of fine stones. The ring is unmarked, and acid tests platinum. The ring is a size 7.5 and can be resized. The ring is not just flat but slightly graduates out off the finger creating a three dimensional quality; that, with the strong color contrast of the brilliant white and vivid red come together to create a fine late Art Deco statement...
