About the Item
One Electronically tested 14k yellow gold ladies cast topaz & diamond ring. Bright polish finish, with rhodium accents. Condition is good. Identified with markings of "14k JCR".
****A deposit of a thin layer has been applied to the topaz to produce the intense color effect. The process utilizes a very high temperature treatment, diffusion of ions into the topaz, plus in some cases neutron bombardment has been used to create the color center. Diffusion processes causes the added ions to become part of the crystal surface with no distinct boundary. Do not put a treated gem in this manner into an ultrasonic cleaner.****
