About the Item

Fine Art Nouveau period Ring with unusual natural Bi-colored Sapphire flanked with Seed pearls on articulated and hand engraved shoulders. Swedish hallmarks : Three Crowns , 18K, maker : GD&Co, city of Malmo. Marks of the year : L7 / hand - made in 1913. Has a hand -engraved inscription on the band : Anna 19 12/11 16 Band in solid 18ct Yellow with tint of Orange + natural oval cut Sapphire stone 6.5mm x 4.5mm x 3.75 mm deep / ca. 0.75 ct with culet that was cut a bit askew to spare the maxim of possible weight. Dominating color of this stone is Blue of medium intensity. In definite light conditions it gets tint of Purple color. Natural Seed pearls accenting the main stone , each Ø 2 mm - Ø 1.75mm. Size: Ø 6.25US scale / 16.71 mm. Sizing is possible ( special type) . Weight: 1.89 grams Used fine condition. Stone with minor wear to facets. Peals aged, none physically damaged. Natural tarnish. Note: do not wear it with textiles / cloths that often have loose or sticking out hair particles, like hand - knitted wool. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. CUSTOM WORK : About Resizing: Resizing of rings can be done on request. The work will be done by experienced professional jeweler. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose, if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed.
