Yi began her styling career over 10 years ago in New York City. Her adventures in the far east began when she was given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, her birth place. She spent her first 3 years in Shanghai as Style editor at Vogue China. Having helped create beautiful images with photographers from around the world, but never being able to call those images her own, she decided to create something beautiful and tangible. Inspired from her travels to Sri Lanka and Myanmar, the sapphire and ruby capitals of the world, she decided to create a small collection of fine jewelry inspired by gemstones. These beautifully handcrafted pieces exude a simple modern elegance that reflect Yi's personal aesthetic. The pieces were designed to shine on their own or to be worn together for added effect. All the gemstone are hand selected from the best sources in the world. No two gems are exactly alike. Each gem brings the wearer a kind of magic rich in history and folklore.
