This antique piece was handcrafted sometime during the Art Deco design period (1920-1940). This antique dinner ring features a platinum setting adorned with 13 sparkling Old European cut diamonds set amongst intricate filigree. Dinner rings were the perhaps more sophisticated sister to the big and flashy cocktail ring of the Art Deco and Mid Century design periods. Dinner rings were a bit more refined, usually made from platinum or white gold, and meant to be worn to fancy dinners and balls instead of speakeasies and parties.
