16.73 Carat Sri Lankan Sapphire and Diamond Ring
About the Item
An important sapphire and diamond ring, the octagonal-cut sapphire weighing 16.73 carats accompanied by GCS Report stating to be of Sri Lankan origin, set between four emerald-cut diamonds weighing 3.24 carats in total, (0.86ct E VVS2, 0.81ct E VS1, 0.81ct F VVS2 and 0.76ct E VVS2) accompanied by De Beers reports, all claw-set in platinum mount, the head measuring approximately 2.3 x 1.7cm, finger size N, gross weight 11.6 grams.
This magnificent sapphire and diamond ring comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. The centrepiece of this stunning ring is a deep blue step-cut sapphire weighing an impressive 16.73 carats. The shoulders of the ring are set with four diamonds, each weighing just under a carat and all with excellent colour and clarity. All the stones have been set in an elegant and refined platinum mount, which perfectly complements the Art Deco inspired design. This piece would make a perfect and eye-catching cocktail ring.
This ring is in excellent condition.
