Victorian Ruby, Sapphire and Diamond Ring, circa 1880s
About the Item
An interesting Victorian ring set with two alternating gemstones, one ruby and one sapphire. They are both old cushion cut shapes and weigh 0.50 carat each. Surrounding them are old cut diamonds which total to 0.85 carats. They are of G-H colour and SI clarity. The shoulders start off slightly chunkier showing off intricate hand carved patterns and slim down towards the back. The carved patterns also follows around the gallery, all hand made in 18ct yellow gold.
