About the Item

104 years old Halo Ring in solid 18K Yellow Gold with natural Blue Sapphire and 8 old European cut Diamonds in Platinum or White Gold settings. Natural Sapphire of old European diamond cut , color is medium Blue demonstrates inclusions and distinctive Color Zoning. Sapphire : Ø 5 mm x 2.5 mm deep / ca. 0.5 ct . Eight Diamonds, all old European cut Ø 2.5 mm / 0,06 ct each , total weight of diamonds here ca. 0.48 ctw. Color ca. F,G /VS GIA scale. All stones have open backs. Floret/ crown measures Ø 8.5 mm x 6 mm deep . Hallmarked 18K , Swedish Ring. Maker's GD&Co, city of Malmo. Marks of the year on this ring S7 = made in 1920. Used condition. Sapphire with very very minor wear to facets. Engraved with initials and digits 0.36 which is wrong estimate of total diamonds weight or someone used different weight conversion rate.
