The ring displays a feature central oval mixed cut natural ruby, claw / prong set to a rectangular, rub over style design. The ruby is flanked by two old mine cut diamonds claw / prong set to individual diamond shaped motifs embellished with tear drop motifs to each corner. The ring shoulders are ornamented with a shaped cuff design that integrates with the tapering, plain hallmarked ring shank. The hallmarks struck to the interior of the ring shank include the maker's mark (D.B) and the 18k gold fineness mark (18k).
