1910s 0.45Ct Ruby 0.60Ct Diamond 18k Yellow Gold Five Stone Ring

About the Item

A fine and impressive antique 0.45 carat ruby and 0.60 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold five stone ring; part of our antique ruby jewellery collections. This fine and impressive ruby and diamond ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The scrolling, pierced decorated frame setting is ornamented with three Old European cut diamonds alternating with two cushion cut rubies, all claw set in a linear design. The tapering shoulders of this five stone ruby and diamond ring integrate with the main setting, blending with the plain hallmarked ring shank. The ring shank is hallmarked to the interior with the maker's mark (PJJ), the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18k gold fineness mark (18), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date mark for 1915 (q). This impressive antique ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. Condition This five stone ring is excellent quality, set with impressive rubies displaying fine colour and brilliance. The impressive diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance. The scrolling decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and meld seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
