Exceptionally stylish Bulgari diamond necklace from Elysium collection showcasing 8 carats of fine white diamonds set in 18K gold. The necklace design was inspired by the high-style Art Deco aesthetic and its elliptical gold links fully capture Art Deco geometric elegance. The oval links glitter beautifully with fully pavéd surface of smaller round diamonds. Connecting the oval links are nine large round brilliant diamonds, and at its center is a double-oval pendant featuring its own large round brilliant diamond. The necklace offers versatility of wear at 3 different lengths: 15.75, 16.75, and 17.75 inch (40, 42.5, and 45 cm). This particular collection is not being made anymore by Bulgari making it highly collectible and a dazzling classic. The Bulgari retail price of this necklace was $75,000.

Bulgari
Greek silversmith Sotirios Voulgaris arrived in Rome in 1881 and set up his own shop there in 1884, calling it Bulgari, an Italianization of his last name (in the brand's logo, it's styled BVLGARI, using the classical Latin alphabet in a nod to ancient Roman culture). In 1905, he opened the company’s flagship boutique on Rome’s Via dei Condotti. Since then, Bulgari has looked to Rome as a source of reference for its fanciful and decidedly romantic designs for necklaces, bracelets, earrings and other accessories.
Although the iconic jewelry house found success with its silverwork and Art Deco designs, popular through the 1920s, Bulgari’s signature style — bold, often using yellow gold embellished with big colorful gemstones — began to emerge when Sotirios’s sons inherited the business, in 1932.
The brand truly hit its stride in the dolce vita era of the 1950s and ’60s, when the founder’s grandsons Paolo, Gianni and Nicola Bulgari decisively departed from demure traditional styles to develop the house’s exuberant multi-gem looks, attracting celebrity collectors like Elizabeth Taylor.
In the 1940s, Bulgari debuted perhaps its most famous design, the Serpenti bracelet watch. The piece’s snakelike coils were made possible by the tubogas jewelry technique, which links a flexible series of thin horizontal bands. Both the sleek, modern tubogas construction and the sinuous snake motif continue to be synonymous with the Bulgari brand.

Exceptional one-of-a-kind large aquamarine diamond and black onyx necklace attributed to Mauboussin Paris and set in 18 karat yellow gold. This impressive necklace is a vintage creation dating to 1980s and is emblematic of the bold French high-jewelry glamour of that era. A large aquamarine of approximately 24 carats is the highlight of the necklace center pendant and features an ever-elegant emerald-step-cut. The aquamarine displays a rich and lively blue color that lights up beautifully as the necklace is worn. It is also characterized by fine clarity. The vivid aquamarine gemstone floats on top of oval 18 karat yellow gold base which is masterfully inlaid with black onyx and encrusted with sparkling fine white diamonds. The rest of the necklace is composed of elegant oval links, surface of which is accentuated with finely crafted ridges, and diamond set short links in between them. Altogether, the diamonds total approximately 5 carats. The juxtaposition of vivid blue aquamarine against elegant black onyx and a sumptuous frame of glittering diamonds in the pendant, along with the finely crafted necklace links, all make for an incredibly sophisticated and chic statement jewel. The necklace is in excellent condition and bears French hallmarks of the period including a maker’s mark for Péry & Fils which was one of the main jewelry makers for Mauboussin Paris.
