About the Item
This Plum Blossom Pendant Necklace is made with 18 karat yellow gold, encrusted with 5 round diamonds and a removable cabochon quartz. It has been featured in a Vogue UA review and we take pride in using top-quality natural diamonds (VS, F-G) sourced from a German gems company with over a century of experience.
The unique sculptural design of this Pendant Necklace adds extra highlights to the surface of the gold, making it sparkle and catch the light beautifully. The diamonds and cabochon drop enhance this effect, adding delicate blinks to the overall design.
Each piece is custom hand made, and you can contact the artist to request it in white, rose, or black gold, with your choice of gemstone, such as topaz, garnet, quartz or citrine. This jewellery collection is designed by a painter from Berlin, Polya Medvedeva, and the pendant reflects the Modern blossom tradition.
The plum blossom symbolises the energy of life, as these trees bloom early, even in the end of winter, making this brooch a perfect symbol of vitality and renewal.

Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
