These lovely drop earrings make the perfect spring accessory. A charming pastoral story plays out on the surface of a large pearl as a butterfly flits around a cheerfully blooming flower and a tree, bright green with new leaves. Masterfully created by hand from 18-karat white gold and featuring a large freshwater pearl as well as diamonds, rubies, sapphires and tsavorites, these earrings are truly charming. The earrings measure approximately 2.9 centimetres wide and hang 3.5 centimetres long. We also have a ring that matches them beautifully, so send us a message, and we can send you both the ring and a special price for the set. They stamped with the FANCS V company code PA266, which indicates the ring was made entirely at their workshop in Palermo, Sicily. This objet d'art is inspired by and made directly from the brilliance and wonder of the natural world. The gold and stones are set according to the physical shape of the pearls, giving the piece an extraordinary harmony of visual delight. This organic design means they are not perfect duplicates of each other, but sisters, which makes them even more special. These earrings are conversation starters; they are a singular, imaginative and very unusual design. If you haven't yet seen them, tsavorites are a gemstone from the garnet family that was discovered in 1967 in Tanzania and again in Kenya in 1971, near the Tsavo East National Park.
