18 Karat White Gold Drop Earrings with Detachable Natural Paraiba Tourmalines
About the Item
These contemporary Plum Flowers cocktail earrings are made of 18 karat white gold and are encrusted with 10 round diamonds. They also come with detachable neon blue paraiba tourmalines in pear cut, 5 carats in total, each measuring 11x7.5 mm. This is a piece from a contemporary jewellery collection that was featured in a Vogue UA review in November. The diamonds used are of top quality, VS, F-G and we work with a German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
The sculptural design of these earrings provides an extra shiny surface for the flowers, creating a subtle play of shadow and light. The diamonds add delicate blinks to these contemporary earrings, and the drops allow for light to pass through. The main difference between the classic Plum Blossom earrings and this edition is the amount of flowers; these earrings have more flowers and are even more noticeable. On the ears, they look classy and even a little royal, while the classic Plum Blossom earrings without cabochons can be worn during the day with jeans and have a more contemporary attitude.
The plum flowers symbolize the energy of life, and the trees blossom in winter in the middle of February. These earrings by the artist can also be worn without the drops as a mono-earring to look more fashionable.
