About the Item

A pair of Soviet period Huggies Earrings - swirl of floral elements in solid 14K Rose and White Gold holding six brilliant cut Diamonds. Each earring has Soviet Union period maker hallmarks, 585 hallmark , Soviet Ukraine, Kiev, made in 1975. Each earring's face part is 18 mm long x 6 mm wide. Each earring's 6 mm deep . Two claw set Russian Diamonds x Ø 3.5 mm /ca. 0.17 ct each and four pave set x Ø 2 mm /ca. 0,03ct each. All stones have open backs. Total diamonds weight ca. 0.4 ctw. Color ca. F,G / VVS Weight: 6.1 grams. Used finest condition. No damages/repairs. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" .. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post.
