As a member of our trade program, you can easily purchase online at the net price. You can instantly view the dealer’s net price on tens of thousands of pieces and click ‘Purchase’ to buy at that price. If you do not see a net price listed, obtain it from the dealer by clicking ‘Request Net Price.’
When Net Price is Shown
Simply click “Purchase” to check out at the net price.
When Net Price is Not Shown
Select ‘Request Net Price.’ The dealer will send you the net price via email and you can then click to check out at that price.

How is the net price determined?
Dealers choose the net price they wish to offer on each piece. 1stdibs never adds a premium or charges buyers additional fees, so the price you see is what you will be charged when you check out, along with shipping costs and taxes if applicable.
Can I negotiate to get a lower net price?
Dealers want to earn your business, so they generally provide their best trade pricing up front. However, just as when you are shopping in a dealers store, you always have the option to negotiate. When viewing a piece, simply click Request More Info. From there you can either send a message to the dealer or attach an offer using the Make an Offer button.
Can I get a lower net price elsewhere?
Dealers agree that the net price they list on 1stdibs is their lowest advertised net price.
What should I do if a dealer offers me a better price if I complete a transaction outside of 1stdibs?
Dealers who ask you to purchase a piece you found on 1stdibs directly from them rather than on our site are violating the terms of their agreement with 1stdibs. That agreement states that when a customer contacts a dealer about a piece he or she found on 1stdibs, the dealer must complete the order on 1stdibs. As with most other marketplaces, dealers also agree to pay 1stdibs a commission on each sale to help cover the cost of running the site.
Dealers who violate our policy will no longer be able to list their pieces for sale on our site.
