"Paris Sentinels" Etching by John Taylor Arms

This etching by John Taylor Arms is titled "Paris Sentinels." John Taylor Arms(1887-1953) was a famous printmaker in the early 20th century. He studies to be an architect and thought that Gothic architecture was man's greatest achievement. This piece features a man and a griffin on the top of Amiens Cathedral in Paris, circa 1920's. The image is 5 1/2" x 3 1/4" and framed and matted the piece is 16" x 12 1/2".
