About the Item
The letter "Q" engraved by Luigi Vanvitelli on laid paper in 1771. They were commissioned by King Carlos III of Italy as part of a historical series. It has been custom framed to museum standards with a hand done French off white lined mat consisting of drawn lines, a pale grey water colored panel and strips of marbleized paper. Signed L. Vanvitelli in the lower left plate corner.
Collectors choose these engravings for their image and sometimes as a symbol of their name.
