English Coat of Arms Art Print by Joseph Edmondson Gold Leaf Frame
About the Item
The image shows a page from "Baronagium Genealogicum" by Joseph Edmondson, published in 1764. It features the coats of arms for Prince Frederick, Princess Anne, Princess Amalia Sophia Eleanora, and Princess Elizabeth Carolina, all children of George II, Prince of Wales.
Each coat of arms represents the individual and their lineage.
The coats of arms include symbols and quarterings denoting their royal status and connections, such as lions for England and a harp for Ireland.
The Prince of Wales's feathers are present in some of the arms.
The engravings were originally compiled by Sir William Segar (1554-1633) and continued by Edmondson. This versatile art piece can be used in any living room, office, or bedroom seeking that Old World feeling.
