The lithographic print is titled "Le Taureau Noir" (The Black Bull) by Picasso on April 20, 1947. The lithograph is signed in print "Picasso" at the lower left-hand corner and is dated "Dimanche 20.4.47", which is a reference to the date for completion of the artwork by Picasso on Sunday, April 20th, 1947. The print was produced by the stone lithography process which explains the reverse date that appears on the artwork at the lower right-hand corner.. Dimensions with frame approx.: 40x54 cm Image size approx.: 27x36 cm. Slightly yellowed leaf.
