We love the colourful umbrella design by Dorothea Fischer-Nosbisch that features on the 1966 re-release German film poster for Gene Kelly's classic musical Singin' in the Rain'.
Singin' in the Rain is a 1952 American musical romantic comedy film directed and choreographed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen, starring Kelly, Donald O'Connor, and Debbie Reynolds and featuring Jean Hagen, Millard Mitchell and Cyd Charisse. Considered by many to be the greatest musical film ever made, it offers a lighthearted depiction of Hollywood in the late 1920s, with the three stars portraying performers caught up in the transition from silent films to "talkies".
This original vintage movie poster has been professionally linen-backed in the European Style (without any restoration). It is sized 23 1/2 x 33 inches (26 x 35 inches inclduing linen-backing). It wil be sent rolled (unframed).
