Original antique travel poster for the Western and Brighton Railway Paris to London via Rouen Dieppe and Newhaven daily departures from Gare St Lazare / Chemins de Fer de l'Ouest et de Brighton Paris a Londres par Rouen, Dieppe & Newhaven departs tous les jours de la Gare St. Lazare featuring great artwork by the French painter Maurice Toussaint (1882-1974) depicting people watching the Royal Household Cavalry on their horses in front of Buckingham Palace and the lake in St James's Park London, the French text in stylised lettering on the border above and below with the ticket prices and train departure information. Printed in Paris. Good condition, restored tears, large restored tear through image, restored paper losses, minor staining, backed on linen.
