More peaceful than a feng shui fountain, this post-impressionist oil on canvas shows a stunningly normal scene from the Swedish forest. Stands of linden trees, fir and aspen frame a brook created from melting snow, forming a waterfall you can almost hear. The colors of the setting sun reflect on the wet granite boulders, as branches are carried away in the froth.
