About the Item
A Sèvres enamelled porcelain scene, inspired on the well-known Raphael painting from 1513, that shows the Madonna of Segiore. It depicts the Christ Child being embraced by Mary, who is seated in a chair, and little John the Baptist looks upon it pious.
Marcel Prunier decorated this piece, which is signed "M. Prunier" and has the porcelain markings "La Vierge à la chaise" and "m. Punier" on one side.
