About the Item
This very large (5 x 4 feet) oil on canvas with variations of blue tones which is simple and elegant, framed with a clean oak frame as done by artist. Shown here in vertical but can also be hung horizontally.
Francisco Franco is a Spanish born modern artist. He is a self-taught painter of the abstract expressionist movement. Franco has lived in Argentina and Brazil and worked extensively in both countries.
His passion for color, texture and mixed-media has generated a cornucopia of art pieces that evoke an equally passionate response. He works with oils, acrylics, brass, metals, found objects and diverse pigmentations to create his unique style.
Franco’s works can be found in the collections of art-lovers around the world.
His flair and admiration for far-flung destinations has been a staple of his life since childhood. These eye-opening experiences imbued him with an appreciation for tropical landscapes that would influence his unique style and artwork.
He has worked a great many commissioned pieces for private collections, among them, the Neiman Marcus Art Collection, as well as high end fashion boutiques in Madrid, Seville, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Rio and Sao Paulo.
