This delightful painting represents a panoramic view of the French Riviera. The Bay of Angels, its fabulous casino on the Mediterranean Sea, the city of Nice and the Alps in the background.
The colors are a pastel gradient ranging from pink to blue. This painting is a historical testimony. In fact, the casino was destroyed during the war by the Nazis. Unfortunately it was not rebuilt.
This painting is signed by R Journay and dates from the 1930s
