About the Item
This painting of a European alpine Mountain scene with very bold and distinctive brushwork is done in an oil medium piece on paper, which has been affixed to a multi-fibre paperboard. Signed Pelletier on the lower right corner with verso label on the back that reads “Erworben Januar 1941” which s German for Acquired in 1941. The painting is presented in a modern grey painted acanthus leaf design bordered frame.
In spite of obvious talent involved in creating the work, the artist is not listed.
