Massive acrylic on canvas original painting "Le Couer Libre" by internationally reknowned artist Isaac Maimon, circa 1992. The painting is very bright and colorful featuring three young stylish woman and measures an impressive 87" x 67.5" x 4" (the canvas is 78.75" x. 59"); it is presented in its original 5" thick gold painted wood frame. It is signed, "Maimon" in the lower right corner; back of canvas is marked with dimensions and "MAI435". Gorgeous focal point piece of art! The painting was purchased for $19,800 from Atlas Galleries in Chicago, IL in 1992. The retail price of a new Maimon painting of this size is well over $30,000. #2522 This painting was selected to be included in the book: "Isaac Maimon - Catalogue Raisonne" and a copy of the signed book is included with the purchase. This is a spectacular Maimon original painting! Maimon has a distinct and recognizable style of painting which captures the energy of Parisian street scenes, with masterful lines and inspired strokes of color. Isaac Maimon was born in Israel in 1951 and has devoted the majority of his life pursuing a career in the arts. He attended the Avni Institute of Fine Art in Tel Aviv, Israel's most prestigious academy for the arts, where his initial interest in the Paris School of Art was cultivated. Maimon's works capture "Boulevard Culture", the uniquely French atmosphere that so intrigued Toulouse Lautrec, Pierre Bonnard and other artists before him. His work was 'discovered' in 1989 by Talking Walls, an art publishing group in Israel, who sponsored exhibitions for him in Israel and in New York. From that time, he has had regular one-man exhibitions in America. His works are held in private and public collections and can be seen at art exhibitions and galleries throughout the world.
