Absolute Top Quality Print of this famous painting. Mid 20th century
This is the autumn version of the Four Seasons Flowers and Birds series, and
it is a piece that nicely expresses the appearance of an autumn night.
[Keifumi Matsumura]
He was the younger brother of Matsumura Goshun, and learned painting techniques from his older brother Goshun, adding a lightness to his art and specializing in landscape, flower, and bird paintings, further developing the Shijo school. He died in 1843. He is 65 years old.
