An enigmatic portrait of a demure woman in a thoughtful pose.
Deep, rich gouache and watercolor original painting, framed in the mid-20th century. Artwork appears to be slightly older, dating to the 1930s or 1940s based upon a visible pin prick to one corner.
A strong European feel to this piece, as if brought back from travels to Italy, France, or Spain.
Wonderfully aged custom framing, with a single bone-colored archival bevel-edged mat, clear glass and a black wood frame that shows chipping and age wear in a wonderful manner.
Ready to display with hanging wire en verso. Original Midcentury framing sticker remains.
