A beautiful Continental 19th century Louis XVI st. still life pastel set in its original giltwood frame. The pastel depicts a wonderfully executed flower arrangement with beautiful vivid colored flowers in a charming vase on a table with a fallen petal and lovely water drop. The original giltwood frame displays a superb mottled stepped design with richly carved Coeur de Rai, foliate, and berried laurel border. All original gilt throughout.
