Church Interior with Praying Woman signed by Belgian Emile Vloors 1894 Bruges, an oil painting on canvas depicting the interior of a church with an elderly woman seated as she is praying near a hanging altar dedicated to the Virgin. In good condition it is signed lower left Emile Vloors ’94 Bruges? and is presented within a modern ebonized oak frame. Albert Émile Vloors (or Emil Vloors ), was born in Borgerhout on May 31, 1871 and died in Antwerp on December 29, 1952 ,and was a Belgian painter and sculptor.
It comes from a private collection of Milan and is in good age related condition.
