About the Item
Small portrait painting of a man with a mustache. In pastel and paint, this piece is ready to frame. Created on brown paper, the artist first painted the entire piece in a light blue. The subject of this painting is an older man, with salt and pepper gray hair. His hair is neatly parted to the side and he dons a set of very 1970s pair of reading glasses.
His unmistakable mustache takes center stage here. The classic push-broom that nobody in the '80s could escape.

This piece is by the late Oklahoma artist Clair Seglem. Seglem, a retired Air Force man, spent much of his time painting and was well known for his striking portrait paintings.
