Léon Laurent Galand (1872-1960) was born in Montpellier, France in 1872 and died in 1960 in Clichy-la-Garenne.
During his career he exhibited regularly in Paris in the Salon des Artistes Français, many are the awards
and medals including a gold one in the early twentieth century.
Many of the painter's works are preserved in the Montpellier Museum.
