A landscape painting with green grass and plants flowering with pink and white flowers with three girls picking flowers.
Signed lower left and bearing an old exhibition label to the reverse with the title and artist's name.
Sight Size: H: 20.5 in / 52 cm W: 24.5 in / 62 cm
Augustus Enness was born in Bocking, Essex. Studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and at the Academie Julian in Paris. Elected RBA in 1925. Prolific exhibitor, showing at ROI, Fine Art Society as well as RA, Ridley Art Club and Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.
