A sweet rendering of a young girl with a page boy haircut wearing a red dress seated in a high back chair. Her arms are raised above her head. Oil paint on board. Entitled "Seated" on the backing paper. Circa 1950. A wonderfully layered and complex paint surface that gives the work a subdued energy. Good overall condition with minor cosmetic blemishes and wear due to age. Minor surface scratches. Wear to the frame. There is no visible signature.
Approximate overall dimensions with the frame are 1" deep x 14.75" wide x 26.5" high. The approximate measurements of the actual image are 12" wide x 24" high.
