Antique painting after the famous motif, “Young Women with a Water Pitcher” by Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675). This painting is created very particularly after Vermeer’s masterpiece. The details in the Persian table cover, golden Pitcher and Basin are stunningly executed. While the original Vermeer is from 1662, this painting is probably from the late 18th/19th century,.The painting is in good restored condition. There are three patches on the back of the canvas. Some small parts are touched up. The painting is housed in a vintage wood frame.
