17th Century Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting of a French Nobleman

We present you this incredible oiled portrait painting rendered in the regency style of Louis XIV. It depicts a French man of high social standing, framed in an oval gilded wooden frame with fine floral details. The man is attired in a rich, purplish-red velvet coat featuring delicate lace cuffs. He is portrayed wearing a white scarf fastened around his neck. The canvas of this painting has been re-stretched for the sake of its conservation.
