Spanish Catalan Faience Hunting Subject Tile Picture
Late 18th Century
The framed picture depicts a huntsman firing his gun at a hare with his dog before him in a landscape with a house in the background on a set of nine tiles. The outer edge of the tiles with a continuous band of yellow flower scrolls and eight spaced roundels with images of a rabbit, the hunting dog, the huntsman and his house.
Dimensions: 17 1/2 inches x 17 1/4 inches x 1 3/4 inches deep (Tiles: 4 3/4 inches square)
