Japanese Antique Wooden Board / Wall Decoration Abstract Art / Wabi-Sabi

About the Item

This is an old Japanese work board. It is called "Mochiita" and was used as a workbench for kneading flour. It seems to be around the Meiji period. The board is considered to be Zelcoba and is made of a single seamless board. The white part hardens over time and has an art-like expression. I think it will be an accent to the space if you decorate it as a wall hanging art as shown in the picture. You can also remove the metal fittings and use it as an exhibition table. I hope you will enjoy decorating the beauty that has changed over time as art. Weight: 8.3kg
