The set is composed by:
n. 10 pieces with element in blue lacquered plywood net price € 2,000 each (images from 1 to 5)
n. 4 pieces with element in black lacquered plywood net price € 2.000 each (images from 6 to 14)
n. 9 pieces with element in black plexiglass net price € 1.680 each (images from 15 to 20)
total € 43.120,00
The project of this engaging artwork was made in 1974 by the Brasilian artist Edival Ramosa, during his stay in Italy, from 1964 to 1974.
In this engraved steel artworks we can find elements in lacquered plywood and plexiglass: the artist spends a lot of his time experimenting many materials included plexiglass and wood. Most of the artworks are now exhibited in the MAP, Museum of Plastic Art of Varese (Italy). During his stay in Italy he known an other important Italian artist: Lucio Fontana.
Edival Ramosa was young when met Arnaldo Pomodoro in Brazil. Pomodoro said to Ramosa to come to Italy and so it was. Ramosa became Pomodoro's pupil and for consequence all of the Ramosa work was influenced by the well known sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro.
He exhibited in Italy Australia and Brazil when he came back in the 1980 and where he opened his art Studio.
These artworks made in 1974 are a multiple of 30 specimen. All the artwork are numbered and signed by the artist
