Extraordinary Art Deco Era Mirrored and Silver Plated Bronze Vanity in Two Parts
About the Item
A fine art deco mirrored and silver-plated bronze vanity with neoclassical design elements. Comprised of an arched and reeded mirror with mirrored base with storage. The mirror with a relief banding of flowers and an openwork reeded gallery with encircling acanthus leaves. The wall mounted mirror surmounted above a mirrored base with both open and compartmentalized storage. The left sided door with bronze appliqué opens to reveal a single shelf. The back of the cabinet with wood backing and the whole raised on fluted bun feet. While the entire piece was once in gleaming silver-plate, the passage of time has worn the silver down to traces with the interior bronze showing through creating a truly attractive age patina.

Condition: Please review all detail photos. The door is slightly ajar due to damaged hinge, loss to door appliqué, tiny chips to right side top, shelf is slightly warped and tight.
