18th Century Rococo Poudreuse

About the Item

A Rococo poudreuse made in Stockholm, most likely by Christian Linning the Elder, circa 1760s. The piece showcases extremely high-quality craftsmanship with an advanced construction that allows the entire upper section to be removed. The poudreuse is veneered in the exclusive wood species jacaranda. The frame is made of alder and pine. The top, which can be folded up, is inlaid with leather. Four drawers provide ample storage space. The legs are elegantly finished with Rococo foot fittings.
