Set of Two Side Tables in Straw Marquetry with a Gilded Base by Ginger Brown
About the Item
This set of 2 tables is made of straw marquetry top with brass trims.
The base is made of wood with a gilded semi-raw fiberglass inlaying.
The semi raw finishing brings an interesting texture thanks to the nice organic shape of the tables.
The straw used for the marquetry is rye straw. It is dried and tinted then opened and flattened before to be sticken on the wooden base.
The straw has a natural silica varnish which makes it resistant and waterproof. A timeless material from the art deco period.
The dimensions are:
Large table 16.9" x 18.9" x H 24.84" (48x43x63cm)
Small table 11" x 13" x H 19.7" (33x28x50cm)
Care instructions:
To clean, simply wipe with a dry clean cloth
Do not use any cleaning agent on the surface
